Mysore and Ooty are the places that showcase history and scenic beauty. This tour takes you to majestic Mysore and beautiful Ooty. While in Mysore you will visit famous Vrindavan Gardens, Chamundi hills, Mysore Palace and Mysore zoo. In Ooty, see the beautiful Ooty Lake and enjoy a boat ride. Enjoy a trip to Dodabetta peak and amazing Coonoor.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Bangalore, transfer to Mysore (145 km, appx. 3 to 4 hrs.)
Day 02: Mysore – Ooty (125 km, appx. 3 to 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, at around 8 am, proceed to Chamundi hills and visit Chamundeshwari Temple. There are around 500 steps one way. Those having difficulty in climbing the steps, can skip this visit. Later proceed to Ooty. Upon arrival at Ooty, check in to the hotel and relax for some time. In the evening, we will take you to Ooty lake where you can enjoy boating. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Sightseeing in Ooty and Coonoor
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Ooty. Visit to Doddabeta Peak, the highest peak of Ooty. From this place you will catch a very panoramic view of the nearby regions. By noon return to Ooty town and you can have lunch. Afternoon visit the famous Botanical Garden built in 1847. Visit Coonoor – Sim’s park & Dolphin nose point. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Ooty – Mysore (approx. 130 kms / 4 hrs), sightseeing in Mysore
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Mysore. Upon arrival check inn to the hotel. Later visit Mysore Palace, one of the prime attractions of Mysore city and visit to Mysore Zoo, where you can view some of the rare species of wildlife. Return back to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Transfer to Bangalore airport or railway station (145 km, appx. 3 to 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and then we will transfer you to Bengaluru International Airport / Bangalore city railway station for your return or onward journey.
